Eligibility for Admission to 4 Year B.E. / B.Tech Degree Course

  1. Minimum Qualifications
    1. A pass in H.Sc. (Academic with Maths, Physics and Chemistry) (or)
    2. A pass in H.Sc. (Vocational Stream in any one of the Vocational courses with the related subject) (or)
    3. Diploma in any one of the courses. (or)
    4. Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education / Higher Secondary Board of Tamilnadu. Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than two appearances.
  2. A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together as given below:

MBA Admission Eligibility

Sri Vidya College of Engineering & Technology MBA Admission through Management Quota or Government Quota.

Eligibility: A pass in a recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained atleast 50% (45% in case of reserved category) in 10+2+3 pattern (or) 10+3 Diploma + 3 years pattern (or) B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. (or) AMIE with 2 years regular full time Teaching/Industrial experience after passing all subjects.

  • Final year students pursuing any recognized degree are also eligible to apply.
  • Government Quota admission is through "Counselling" based on TANCET Scores.
